Job Title: Project Coordinator Length: 6 months Rate: £10-11 ph Based: Central London
Role Purpose: Provision of efficient and effective support system to both the project manager and the project itself. The role is essential to ensure that the project meets its quality, time and budget objectives.
Duties: • Organising site meetings and workshops, general research to ensure correct participants at meetings. • Production, collation and dissemination of documents (including site plans) for and resulting from meetings – co-ordinating responses so that deadlines are maintained. • Taking minutes, taking responsibility for actions and providing background research for the Project Manager when an action requires it. • Liaising with company employees to ensure smooth progress of project • Checking of invoices and expenses to ensure correct billing. • Liaise with sponsor, contractors and project team to develop scope of proposed works • Review contractor`s quotes, methodology and programme to ensure works can and will be implemented as per agreed overall business case programme, quality and cost. • Ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and understood by local PM and contractor • Respond to contractor information requirements • Provide input towards project controls and planning including monitoring and reporting systems • Participate in the development of supply strategies and frameworks • Document control • Monitoring of change control * variations • Evaluation of scope, pricing and contract documentation • Provide administrative support • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point. • Creating and maintaining tracking documents. • Communications • Site status – overall view • Knowledge management For more opportunities, please visit www.synergygroup.co.uk.
